Awards say it's what's inside that matters
Exteriors get the most buzz, but Ward's AutoWorld recently announced its Interior of the Year awards, naming 11 winners. Included were the Honda Fit Sport in the Economy-Priced Car category (for its second-row flexibility), the Kia Soul for Grooviest Interior (for its pulsing speaker lights and bright red accents), the Lexus RX 450h for Design Harmony (for its asymmetrical center stack and color palette) and the Dodge Ram for Popular-Priced Truck (for clever storage bins and a roomy interior). All of the winners are listed at wardsauto.com; search for "Interior of the Year."

Keanu makes speed again in charity race
Keanu Reeves, driving a race-ready Scion tC, finished first among the celebrities as stars and pro racers faced off in the Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race for charity last weekend. Al Unser, Jr., finished first among all drivers on the 1.97-mile street circuit through downtown Long Beach. The race will be broadcast on the Speed Channel in May.
