A continuous concert for the auto industry
A Detroit-area café's 10-day continuous concert, intended to show support for the auto industry, had to be extended to set a Guinness World Records mark for longest concert by multiple artists. Originally scheduled to run for 240 hours, it was extended two days after organizers learned another music marathon had lasted 255 hours. AJ's Music Cafe has also offered to give a free cup of coffee to customers who pledge to buy American cars.
