Neil Young's tribute to green autos and Kelley Blue Book's most-researched cars

Neil Young

Eco rock
Neil Young's new album, "Fork In The Road," which releases Tuesday, was inspired by his work with environmental autos, including his project to convert a classic 1959 Lincoln Continental into an all-electric vehicle. The album contains such songs as "Cough Up the Bucks," "Hit the Road," "Get Around" and "Fuel Line."

Biodiesel news
The company TDA Research says it can produce biodiesel from waste grease at a cost that's competitive with conventional diesel, and it has received $225,000 in federal funds to operate a laboratory-scale version of the process and come up with ways to economically produce large quantities of the fuel.

Civic HFP

Car research
Fuel-efficient cars topped the list of most researched new cars of 2008 on Kelley Blue Book. The Honda Civic (right) was most researched, with the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry rounding out the top three for the fifth consecutive year.
