I had a '67 MGB-GT and LOVED it for the same reason!

We had one...British Racing Green. Bought in Norfolk, VA and driven in Athens, GA while I was in the Navy. Great leather seats and low profile. Unfortunately had Lucas electric system and the speedometer kept breaking. Had to sell when we were expecting our first child. We tried to fit a baby carrier in the "back seat" and discovered it wouldn't even go through the door. Sold to another naval officer who was headed to California.

Man, I always wanted an MGB, but could never afford the mechanic that you needed as an accessory. I did end up with a '91 Special Edition Miata (British Racing Green, with the tan leather interior and limited slip differential), but it wasn't *quite* the same......

Fantastic car; shows your passion for the 'art'.

The MBG is a great car. In 2012 MG celebrated the 50th birthday of the MGB.
I have a 1968 road star and a 1969 MGB GT. Both fun to drive and own.
