CAR'S YEAR, MAKE AND MODEL: 1996 Porsche 993 C4S
"I LOVE MY CAR BECAUSE ... after being without it for five years I bought it back. The 993 is my favorite model of all the Porsches ever built -- it comes the closest to riding a motorcycle. We visited the factory where it was built. My spouse spotted one fellow drinking a beer while working at the plant in Zuffenhausen."

They serve beer at the BMW factory in Munich as well. There are beer vending machines in the factory also. But, not a big deal in Germany. Same thing in Italy. They know the deal...only drink one. It does seem odd to anyone who has worked in the US.

Hey - I totally agree. My 997 is the closest thing to riding a motorcycle. You are so close the engine and road. Incredible. I smile every time I get in it and turn the ingnition. Great on getting your car back. Cool!

Every time I consider replacing my 993, I think...with what?

Aren't you a little old to be driving such a powerful car? Why not hand it down to your favorite lobbyist in LB? My foot would never leave the gas pedal.
Go Angels!

Porsche had it right up through the 993 models; Water is best left for making beer.

This story makes the news? Wow, slow day I guess.

Take care in Turn 1. It is tricky.

Your car, brings tears to my eyes, as you know I sold it to you the 1st time around. Like you the 993 wide body is the one that I still like the best. I would love to have it back someday but I have a feeling you will not let it go the second time! Take care, rubber side down ole friend.

I have a 95 993 C4 and a 96 993 cabriolet. They each have a distinct personality, but they are both a blast to drive. However with an 85 mile daily commute, I drive a Toyota Yaris to work that gets 42 mpg. That just makes my weekend drives a lot more fun.

Long live the 993!

Sharp car - congrats!
We won't ask how much you've paid in total for it with both purchases...... ;-)

Uh... I don't think NW Autos really qualifies for making "the news."

What does age have to do about it??
Even the oldest F1 driver would whip any one of the people who have commented.
Nice Ride!

Hey, bwall... might want to go back and read that comment again. Sure seems more than obvious that the person who made it knows the owner/Bob.....
IT WAS A JOKE. Even the oldest F1 driver would get it.

How much are these worth??? I heard there are only like 20-30 of them ever built. Is this true?
