Great restoration - and the redlines/cougar wheels give it a nice touch. Not many people restoring the Sedan models - way to go!

CORRECT, IT IS NOT A CYCLONE. IT IS THE 202 VERSION OF THE 1966 MERCURY COMET. THE RIMS WERE A MERCURY CYCLONE OPTION. AS IS THE FACTORY FIBRE GLASS HOOD. IT STARTED OUT AS WHITE, WITH THE BLACK VINYL TOP, AND RED INTERIOR. NOW BLACK ON BLACK. STARTED OUT WITH A STRAIGHT 6, NOW HAS A BORED OUT 289.
