Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Mich., is making its film collections more widely accessible by running a "Historic Video of the Month" feature on its blog. The films draw from the museum's collection of short films produced by the motion picture department at Ford. The clips illustrate the impact of the automobile, industrial manufacturing and design. They also include glimpses of Henry Ford and his family.

For sale: Defendant's car collection
U.S. marshals have begun auctioning off nearly 200 vehicles seized from a Utah businessman accused of running an $18 million Ponzi scheme. Trade publications say a lot of the classics in Jeffrey Mowen's collection are actually fiberglass kit cars. However, Mowen, who has pleaded not guilty, also has genuine vehicles such as a 1981 DeLorean, a 1989 Bentley Turbo, a 1969 Dodge Charger and 1973 Plymouth Barracuda. A sale was held Thursday, with another scheduled for Jan. 21.
