This Jetta-sized coupe debuted at the Detroit auto show in January. The lithium ion-powered battery gets the car 45 mpg, and the car can be driven in full-electric mode. The four-seater with a top speed of 141 mph is intended to appeal to fans of fast, sporty cars. The back seats are separated by a center console that continues from between the front seats.

How can an electric car get any miles per gallon in full electric mode? It's using batteries, not gas! Sheesh.
Come on, NWautos staff. Don't you read what you're writing?

This is good for technology, but why am I motivated to by a hybrid if I only drive local? I believe a 100% EV is what I need.
I'm not worried about space since the Goss132 EV is just about what I'm already driving right now.
Price is great too.

It will probably be much nicer to drive than the Insight or Prius. And ride and handle well.
But what about reliability? How often will the check engine light need to be reset? Will the sunroof actually work? And how often will the power windows fall down inside the door?
