Consumer Reports lauds Toyota products
Toyota's Prius (shown at right) remains Consumer Reports magazine's top pick for environmentally friendly vehicle, the publication recently announced, despite the automaker recalling some of the hybrids to fix a brake software flaw. The publication's annual auto issue, out now, also names the carmaker's Lexus LS460L best overall vehicle among more than 280 autos tested. General Motors's Chevrolet Traverse was named the best SUV and GM's Silverado was the top pickup.
