Honda scooter
The green fad in Japan is expanding from cars to bikes with Honda's new zero-emission electric EV-neo scooter. Honda plans to start leasing the scooters -- the equivalent of a 50cc gasoline-powered bike -- in December and says its target market is companies that make deliveries, such as newspapers and pizza parlors. The EV-neo has a cruising range of 19 miles on one charge.
Greener RV
Roaming Times, a leading website for recreational vehicle reviews, recently awarded its Green RV of the Year Award to the Earthbound RV for its reduction of wood in its production and use of lightweight composite materials that save on fuel consumption.
