Lexus has released an online, interactive film to promote its new hybrid, the CT 200h. "Dark Ride" puts you in the action via webcam and a Facebook account. You sit shotgun and pick the route on a high-speed adventure that's intended to show the dark side of the "green" auto movement. lexusdarkride.com
Volt minivan
A U.S. patent filing indicates that a Chevrolet Volt minivan is in the works. Power for the minivan will likely be provided by the same plug-in hybrid system destined for the Volt sedan and the look will be loosely based on the new Chevy Orlando (shown at right).
