The 24 Hours of Le Mans race -- which starts June 12 -- will go high-art this year. Car No. 78 is the 17th in a series of BMW Art Cars, and is covered in hundreds of hard-edged lines evoking power, motion and bursting energy. Artist Jeff Koons designed the car, joining artists such as Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein as BMW Art Car creators. But the car isn't all looks. It's derived from the BMW M3 high-performance sports car, boasts a 4.0-liter V8 engine with a maximum output of 500 bhp and can reach 62 mph in 3.4 seconds.
