"I LOVE MY CAR BECAUSE ... I have known it all of its life, and loved it from day one. My uncle Paul bought this classic in 1962, after he returned from military service. I was only 12 at the time. I teased him for years about selling me the car because I loved it. My fondest memories of my uncle and his Chevy were when he would spiff up his car and drive it to Sunday dinners at our home (and of course take me for a ride). When my uncle passed away in 2003, I inherited the car."

Cool..........red on red too! My senior year in high school I had one just like that.........lite yellow with tan interior. Now that I am retired I wish I had it back. Red on red has always been a favorite! Thanks for sharing your beautiful car!

That's a great story and car !!!! How rare and fortunate for you and the car. I still have my first car...1963 V-8 4 door metallic silver blue Impala. Bought it in 1972 when I was 18 years old from the original owner for $400.00
I've kept him all original. Restored to a great degree and will never part with him.
