Green car of year
The Chevrolet Volt was named 2011 Green Car of the Year at the Los Angeles Auto Show Thursday. It's the first electric vehicle to win the award, sponsored by Green Car Journal. The jury is made up of environmental and auto experts, as well as the magazines editors. The other finalists were the Ford Fiesta, Hyundai Sonata Hybrid, Lincoln MKZ Hybrid and Nissan Leaf.
