Infiniti's M35 Hybrid four-door sedan is due to the U.S. in 2011, and testing on the luxury vehicle is already underway in Japan. The M35h, the automaker's first gasoline-electric offering, is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 backed by an electric motor. Infiniti says the hybrid can operate in complete electric mode in up to 50 percent of driving conditions.

Electric rentals
Enterprise Rent-A-Car has announced it will add up to 100 all-electric Coda sedans to rental locations in 2011. The car has room for five passengers, has a full-sized trunk and gets 90-120 miles of range per charge. Where the cars will be located hasn't been released.
