The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) gave out its new awards for the Hottest Car, Hottest Truck and Hottest 4X4/SUV at last week's annual show. The awards, recognizing the year's top trend-setting vehicles, were voted on by exhibitors at the show. The winners were the Chevrolet Camaro for Hottest Car (shown at right), the Ford F-series for Hottest Truck and the Jeep Wrangler for Hottest 4x4/SUV. SEMA is a non-profit trade group of automotive equipment makers. The show highlights new manufacturing trends and aftermarket parts and accessories.

James Bond's Aston Martin sells for $4.1M
One of the world's most famous James Bond cars -- the specially equipped silver Aston Martin first driven by Sean Connery in "Goldfinger" -- was auctioned off last week in London for 2.6 million pounds ($4.1 million.) The unique car, which boasts an ejector seat, machine guns, rotating license plates and other spy gear, was initially expected to go for more than 3.5 million pounds ($5.5 million). It was bought by Harry Yeaggy, an American classic cars collector who has a small private museum in Ohio.
