Minivan market adds two more competitors
Ford and Nissan are re-entering the minivan market. After a year off, the Nissan Quest returns for 2011 with new styling and more standard features. It goes on sale early next year. Ford's new C-Max small minivan (shown at right) goes on sale next fall and will feature best-in-class fuel efficiency and an industry-first hands-free liftgate. The liftgate opens when the person holding the key waves a foot under the back of the minivan. The C-Max is Ford's first minivan in five years.
