Saab's first electric vehicle debuted at the Paris Auto Show in October. The wagon is projected to get 124 miles on a charge via high-density lithium-ion batteries. The car will be field tested this year and into 2012.

Nice, but I'd like to be able to drive to/from spokane/Seattle with 20 miles of in town driving on one charge OR a lunch stop charge of 30-45 minutes.
