"I LOVE MY CAR BECAUSE ... the first night I met my wife I showed her a picture of my first Austin-Healey, complete with old girlfriend. After I got connected online, I started trying to locate my original car. I had tracked it to 1979 and found relatives of the person who owned it. While on a trip to Texas, we were having dinner with an old roommate from college. He had been an Austin-Healey owner. It was Valentine's Day and after telling him of my quest, he said, 'What are you going to do if you find it?' I said, 'Buy it.' He said, 'You don't need to do that; I have one for sale.' My wife turned to me and asked, 'Do you want it?' The rest is history."

Yes, indeed. I love the big Healeys. I had a '59 100-6. It got stolen from the UW in 1970 and I never saw it again!
