Seattle's first Airstream dealership; Toyota rebound

Seattle gets first Airstream dealership
Seattleites interested in one of Airstream's iconic silver trailers no longer have to travel to Spokane or Portland to find a dealer. The Seattle branch of Airstream Adventures Northwest opened last week at 27222 Covington Way SE in Covington, and features new and used trailers, a service center and financing.

Toyota production, parts supply rebound
Toyota will begin cranking up its North American factories faster than expected, returning to 70 percent of normal production in June as it rebounds from parts shortages caused by the earthquake in Japan. Toyota says the parts situation is improving as supply companies take measures to counter the effects of the quake. However, the release of the more spacious Prius V has been delayed -- possibly until April of 2012 due to shortages of its new battery. A smaller lithium-ion battery is replacing the current nickel-metal version.
