OWNER: Mike Mersman, Seattle
OCCUPATION: Boat broker
CAR'S MAKE AND MODEL: 1937 Ford five-window coupe
"I LOVE MY CAR BECAUSE ... it has a great history. It was turned into a race car in 1947 and back into a street car in 1970, and it's been cruising the streets of Seattle ever since. It's an all-steel original 1937 Ford, never damaged, with low mileage. It doesn't have a heater, but the smiles people beam at me when I drive by keep it warm enough for cool Seattle days and nights."

Um, my husband said that's a Ford, not a Chevy. Nice car though, bro!

That is definitely a '37 Ford. In 1937 Chevrolet still mounted the headlights on pods, not into the fender. I can't believe the owner doesn't know the make of his jewel!

FORD car, yes - but the motor is a Chevy 327.
FORDOLET?
