Neiman Marcus picks Ferrari for catalog
An exclusive edition of the 2012 Ferrari FF, which reaches top speeds of more than 200 mph, is the car featured in this year's Neiman Marcus Christmas Book. The catalog of extravagant gifts offers 10 of the Ferraris with four-wheel drive in the silver-gray color "grigio caldo." A set of tan leather luggage matching the interior is included in the $395,000 price. Last year's auto, a special-edition Chevrolet Camaro, sold out in just three minutes.

Automakers predict sales growth in 2012
Economists for General Motors and Ford expect U.S. auto sales to increase in 2012 above the 12.5 million to 13.5 million forecast for this year. The average vehicle in the U.S. is 10.6 years old, the highest in history. Automakers believe that signals pent-up demand for new cars. Auto sales are already on the rise; they were up 10 percent in September. GM Chief Economist G. Mustafa Mohatarem attributes that to the fact that Japanese automakers, whose production was interrupted by March's earthquake and tsunami, are recovering.
