Rolls tour
Rolls Royce is nearing the end of an eight-month world tour of its 102EX -- a converted all-electric Phantom (shown). Rolls-Royce has taken the vehicle to Europe, Singapore, China, Japan and the Middle East and is finishing with a tour of the U.S. The one-of-a-kind car has a nearly 1,500-pound 71-kw battery pack -- the largest ever installed in any vehicle.

CODA headquarters
Electric carmaker CODA opened its global headquarters (shown) in Los Angeles last week with a 100,000-square-foot engineering, research and sales center that has more than 200 employees. The company plans to begin selling its $44,900 electric sedan this year.
