CAR'S MAKE AND MODEL: 1919 Detroit Electric
"I LOVE MY CAR BECAUSE ... my great-uncle Robert took me for rides in this car when I was 8 years old (in 1945). In 1979, I purchased the car from his grandson. It has a tiller bar to steer, uses 14 six-volt batteries with a range of 50 miles and has a top speed of 25 mph."
