$10 says it was purchased from Hatfield VW on Columbus' west side. That's where my 97 Jetta came from (well, aside from being built in Mexico).

Now is his chance to get acquainted with the VW service schedule, look forward to those 40K trans service for only $500, it's just money and being in those VW service departments is kind of like a social network experience, you see the same people over and over, they become family. Maybe you'll bridge someday to Audi, Porsche, Lamborghini or go exotic and find VW's other products like Skoda or Seat. Meanwhile save those coins for the tow charges.
