App features latest from auto shows
Cars.com has introduced a free app to help car shoppers navigate auto shows. The Auto Show app provides news on new-car introductions, must-see vehicles, vehicle photos and videos for the major 2012-2013 auto shows, including the L.A. Auto Show, continuing through Dec. 9. It's available for iPhone and Android devices through Apple or Google Play online stores.

GM to build a third factory in China
General Motors and its joint-venture partners say they will build a third factory complex in China to keep pace with rising sales. GM China, SAIC and Wuling Motors expect to start construction on the plant in the Chongqing municipality in early 2013, with the $1 billion first phase opening in 2015. Eventually, the plant will be able to build 400,000 vehicles and engines per year, the company says. GM didn't say what models the factory will build or how large it will be.
