Grand Cherokee to run on clean diesel; new Nuvi talks landmarks

Diesel technology
German-based technology supplier Bosch announced its clean-diesel technology will be featured in the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee (shown). The vehicle's 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V-6 is equipped with a Bosch Common Rail Diesel Fuel Injection System. The clean-diesel emission system will be assembled at Bosch's facility in Kentwood, Mich.

Garmin's Nuvi, demonstrated at last month's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, offers audible directions that rely on visible landmarks, mimicking directions many people might give.
