Kudos for energy-efficient Hondas; Fusion Energi is Ford's top plug-in hybrid

Green ranking
Five Honda vehicles have earned recognition from the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy. The ACEEE Greenbook Online ranked the Honda Fit EV (shown), Insight and Civic Hybrid among the 12 "Greenest Vehicles of 2013." The Greenbook also named the Fit and the Honda Odyssey minivan as "Greener Choices of 2013" within their respective classes. For details, visit greenercars.org.

Mileage rating
Ford's most fuel-efficient sedan, the Fusion Energi (shown), now has an EPA-rated total range of up to 620 miles without having to stop for gas or a battery recharge. The plug-in hybrid also has the ability to drive up to 21 miles in electric-only mode. The Energi is Ford's second production plug-in hybrid, following the C-Max Energi sedan, which has been on the market since November 2012.
