Consumer Reports takes on motorcycle rating; AAA's top commuter picks

Reliability report ranks motorcycles
Yamaha motorcycles were found to be the most reliable in a survey conducted by Consumer Reports. It's the publication's first look into motorcycles. About 1 in 10 Yamaha owners experienced issues in the previous four years. Yamaha was followed closely Kawasaki and Honda. About 1 in 4 Harley-Davidson owners reported problems, but also reported the most satisfaction with their bikes. BMW motorcycles were found to be the least reliable, with about 1 in 3 owners reporting problems.

AAA picks its favorite commuter vehicles
AAA has released its list of top vehicles for commuters. The list is based on fuel efficiency, comfort and overall performance.
Compacts: Chevrolet Volt, Toyota Prius/Prius v, Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen TDI
Sedans: Audi A4, Buick LaCrosse, Ford Fusion, Hyundai Genesis, Nissan Altima
Crossovers: Ford Flex, Toyota Highlander
Minivan: Honda Odyssey (shown)
