Toyota training center also has test track
As part of its focus on quality, Toyota recently opened a new training facility for mechanics and equipped it with a 0.8-mile test course that simulates 13 driving conditions, including cobblestones, bumpy roads and wet surfaces. The Tajimi Service Center in Japan is among the biggest training centers for any automaker and is expected to train up to 4,800 mechanics a year.
