Many pet restraints don't keep Fido safe

A study of pet restraints found that many popular brands had flaws that could lead to harm. The Sleepypod Clickit Utility Harness rated the highest among the harnesses tested. Subaru and the nonprofit Center for Pet Safety conducted the study of restraints using the same crash-test standards for measuring the effectiveness of child-safety products. The performance data will help to develop the first harness safety standards and test protocols that will serve as guidelines to the pet-products industry.
