Lexus on top again in dependability study
For the third year in a row, Lexus had the top score in J.D. Power and Associates' 2014 Vehicle Dependability Study. General Motors had the most winners in each segment, with eight, including the highest-ranked compact car, the Chevrolet Volt, and pickup, the GMC Sierra. Toyota had seven segment winners, including the Toyota Camry midsize car and Lexus ES compact premium car (shown). Overall dependability was determined by the number of problems experienced by original owners of 2011-model-year vehicles.
