Tesla to offer Model S leases to businesses

Electric-car maker Tesla will begin leasing its Model S cars to small and midsize businesses in Washington and nine other states. A 36-month lease on a base car would cost $1,012 per month plus approximately $6,000 up front. Tesla says the cost would be offset by gas savings and business tax deductions for a net monthly cost of $408.
