Ford Edge Concept
Featuring technologies under development, this concept points to future options from Ford. The SUV, displayed at the recent New York auto show, has a fully assisted parking aid. Using ultrasonic sensors, the system helps drivers park the vehicle in a tight spot at the touch of a button or by remote control. The vehicle also has adaptive steering, which makes steering at low speeds easier. Its aerodynamics and fuel efficiency are enhanced by active grille shutters, which open and close automatically to maintain optimal engine operating temperature. Inside, it has a leather-wrapped and hand-stitched instrument panel.
