More will be hitting the road for holiday
AAA Travel estimates that 36.1 million Americans will drive 50 miles or more from home this Memorial Day holiday weekend. That's a 1.5 percent increase from the 35.5 million who traveled during the weekend last year. AAA says 88 percent of all travel — including planes, cruises, buses and trains — will be done by automobile this weekend.
